Existing Distribution Boards were removed and replaced with new Schneider Acti 9 boards complete with MCBs and RCBOs

All classrooms were completely rewired, tested and put into use.

Existing Lighting was removed from classrooms and replaced with a fully designed and commissioned lighting package by Whitecroft Lighting, complete with all emergency lighting throughout

Existing Fire alarm cabling, detectors, call points were removed from the classroom space, rewired and new equipment was installed throughout, then commissioned by colleges specialist sub-contractor

Existing Data points were removed and replaced with a new Excel cabling system to a new data cabinet, all installed and tested by our own data installing electricians.

Alterations to existing site wide systems were undertaken as part of the client's requirements, these included Intruder Alarm, Door Access and CCTV, all by the colleges specialist supplier, but managed by J2

Daikin VAM ventilation units were installed in each refurbished classroom to extract the air and supply the air conditioning units with fresh air. 

Daikin VRF Air conditioning systems were installed in each classroom linked to individual room controls and a master controller linked via BACnet to the in house BMS. New condensers were safely lifted and installed on the roof

Existing heating radiators were removed, and new ones installed to the new locations where HVAC was not installed. Hot and cold-water services and above ground drainage were installed to suit the new refurbished locations and classrooms
